My food was good. It took forever for a waitress to even ask for drinks. My friend is allergic to garlic and onion. She explained this and only asked for a grill cheese. It comes out and has onion on the crust. She talks to the cook and asks him to please scrap the grill first. Second grill cheese comes out and still has onion on it.
Food is disgusting and it's too loud. Service is sub par. Was way better before new owners took over. I have no plans to return. PS. Best budget in town is false advertising. Theirs is by good by a long shot.
I went to Little Buster's frequently until moving out of state a couple of years ago. The food, service, and atmosphere were great. I can't believe how awful the new owners have made what used to be the best place in Derby. It is now just a stupid loud echo chamber. The new owners have removed every trace of sound dampening material and turned up the volume multi-fold. It is impossible to carry on a conversation without yelling. The service was awful. It took an unexplained long time to get our meal. When indicating I did not want a refill of my not yet finished drink towards the end of our meal, the waitress actually picked up my glass and took it away before I even realized what had happened. This while we still had finished plates still on the table. A terribly disappointing experience overall. I won't be back.
Thought I'd try again. It was worse this time, the place is not the same. They got my burger order wrong first, and it wasn't busy. The bartender had no personality and didn't seem to know what he was doing. I wish they would remove the "best burger" because it is far from it. The patty is small and dried out. My husband and I both agreed Burger King would have been better and cheaper. The menu isn't that great. But the food quality, is really not good. Someone else wrote one from last week too. I agree with that comment as well. It wasn't an off day...they simply were not busy and the food quality just needs to be better. I won't be coming back I'm afraid. I miss the burger I had back in 2007 and 2008.
Great food and service. But it was a bit hot on the south side of the building. It may have just been the one time I was there. I will definitely be going back.
